Real Help for Real People About What Really Matters
Smart. Nice. Honest. I provide effective legal assistance for estate planning, probate and elder law in a welcoming, plain-talk manner without the normal stale attorney-client relationship. I want to get to know you and fully understand your concerns before we get down to the brass tacks of our work. There is never a clock ticking in my office, no pressure to hurry a conversation along.
People from Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island and throughout Kitsap seek my help with a wide range of objectives. They want to preserve their quality of life as they age. They need to protect and provide for loved ones with disabilities. They want to leave a legacy for their families when they die. They may want to communicate their wishes about health and financial decisions. They worry about finding and paying for long-term care. Or they hope, by planning ahead, to make life a little easier for their families.
I understand that “real help” intersects with “real life.” I try to accommodate the circumstances of my clients and their families, with home visits and evening or weekend appointments, if necessary.
My clients’ wishes are my top priority. Whatever the reason you visit, I want you to leave feeling confident that I am the attorney who will best help you achieve your goals.
Patrice White is an excellent attorney who truly listens to her clients.
I contracted with Ms. White in Nov 2015 to help my 90 year-old, hard-of-hearing mother put a will and trust together. The trust had to contain crucial “special needs” provisions for my disabled adult brother. Ms. White demonstrated utmost patience, tact, and understanding for my mother during the entire process. We both greatly appreciated Ms. White’s thorough answers to all my mother’s questions when we met with her. She never made us feel rushed. And in the end, my mother had the critical legal documents – and peace of mind that she needed. My mother and I had a very good experience with Patrice White and HIGHLY recommend her.

We needed to update our estate plan as our children began having families of their own. Patrice explained our options and then worked with us to set up the family trust. She did a great job of explaining how it would work and provided us with a thorough “playbook” for our reference as needed in the future.

Patrice prepared all of our will and power of attorney documents for us. She took the time to understand our situation and recommended the appropriate documents accordingly. She prepared a comprehensive list of all the information she would need and all the decisions to be made, which saved us a great deal of time. It was obvious that she is very well organized. She was always available to explain the implications of choices we could make without trying to influence our decisions. The best part of our experience working with Patrice was her presentation of our documents when they were all completed. She took the time to walk through each one with us and carefully explained what they meant in terms that were easy to understand. We came away from the experience confident that everything we needed was in place and set up the way we want things to be handled.
